The University of Michigan Solar Car team participates in a number of events in addition to its competitions across North America and Australia. We participate annually in the North American International Auto Show, the Traverse City Management Briefing Seminars, and a variety of Earth Day celebrations. We strive to give back to our community, educate the public about alternative energy, and excite young people about science and engineering through appearances and presentations at schools, green fairs, and other community events.
